MYNAME will be meeting its fans in Japan as manga characters just
before its debut in the country.
The MYNAME members Gunwoo, Insoo, Seyong, JunQ and Chaejin
will appear as themselves in the manga Starting to Live with
Princes, which will be serialized in the biweekly manga
magazine Sho-Comi.
Sho-Comi is a popular romance manga magazine that mostly
appeals to female middle school and high school student audiences.

Starting to Live with Princes will be about what
happens when the five members of MYNAME start to live with a lovely
female lead.
The manga will combine fiction with non-fictional events in
MYNAME’s lives as a celebrity, and will center on Seyong for its
first episode, set for release on July 5.
The editor for Sho-Comi said on the manga, “I believed it
would be fun to draw a manga about MYNAME, a K-Pop idol that has
placed itself at the center of the new Korean wave. I also thought
the MYNAME members’ looks and personalities would look perfect as
the leads of a manga.”
In Korea, MYNAME recently released its first single album
MYNAME 1st Single and has been promoting its first single
cut Hello & Goodbye.
