On July 7th, idol group SUPER☆GiRLS held a
release event for their latest single, “Puripuri♥SUMMER
Kiss“, at Yomiuri Land in Tokyo.
Despite the unfortunate rain, over 2,000 fans gathered at
Yomiuri Land to celebrate the singles release. The members of
SUPER☆GiRLS took the stage in their summer clothes and performed a
total of 5 songs including their newest, “Puripuri♥SUMMER
Kiss”.
Since July 7th was the Tanabata (Japanese star
festival) day, the girls read their wishes that were written on a
tanzaku (long strips of paper for writing poetry on).
Leader Yasaka Saori revealed, “I wrote to
participate in ‘Kohaku’.” Meanwhile, Kano
Kaede said, “What I wrote on mine is for SUPER☆GiRLS
to be loved by everybody.”
At the end of the event, the girls pulled out a 6 meter long
tanzaku, and wrote in big letters, “To be able to
participate in ‘Kohaku’.”
